  • The Woman with the 5 Elephants wins at SILVERDOCS

    This year's Sterling Award for Best World Feature goes to THE WOMAN WITH THE 5 ELEPHANTS directed by Vadim Jendreyko, which chronicles eighty-five-year-old Svetlana Geier who has dedicated her life to language.
    A Swiss-German coproduction of Mira Film and Filmtank.

  • Change at Filmtank Stuttgart
    Wolfgang Kerber will be our new colleague at the Filmtank branch in Stuttgart which formerly has been administered by Thiemo Hehl. Wolfgang Kerber studied at the Film Academy in Ludwigsburg and worked as Line Producer and Producer at "Gambit" and "TeamWorx". From 2007 to 2010 he organised the " Bundesfestival Video" (Federal Video Festival) in Ludwigsburg.
