Soldiers of Misfortune

Documentary Soldiers of Misfortune

The world is talking about Ugandan war criminal Joseph Kony. But nobody is talking about the US using Ugandan soldiers for their own interests. Now as young Americans are mobilizing to take down one of Africa’s most notorious war criminals, their government is actively recruiting ex-child soldiers from the left over of Kony’s Lord’s Resistance Army to use as security guards in places of more strategic interest - Somalia, Iraq and Afghanistan.
This film will give an insight view and analysis of the security business, run by US-Companies, handed down to local agents and Ugandan security companies as well as the official business of the Army. In both cases, using LRA victims for their goals.
